PRESENT SIMPLE: third person singular

You add -s to most verbs as in ... Takes and Gets.

You add -es to DO & GO and verbs ending in -ch, -ss, -sh and -x as in ... Goes, Does, Watches, Finishes.

You add -ies to verbs ending in -y as in ... Carries and Tries.
